British Army Issue 2 Man Arctic Tent.
A very rare piece of military kit manufactured in the 1980’s although the style has been around for years.
Unused condition (initially listed as "used" due to age and time in storage)
Nylon outer with sewn in white cotton liner and sewn in groundsheet. A section of the groundsheet can be pulled back to reveal the ground the tent is pitched on (probably for cooking inside)
Entry is through a “tunnel” opening which is also cotton lined and has a sewn in mosquito net. There are also two mosquito net covered ventilation ports.
The tent is an “A” pole structure (4 poles, 3 sections each)
All guy lines are attached But comes Without poles. You will need about 20 pegs to finish the job off!
The tent has not been unpacked since it was made. It is likely that the PU coating will have stuck together. Gently pull all the folds of nylon out. The pole tubes may need some soapy water down them so the poles will slide in more easily.
